Code HELP!!!
you are right about your temp, they are not that high. there is no real way to tell with a pressure tester, but combine that with a bore-scope and you may be able to see something.
if your sure you did everything correct there isn't much you can do without pulling it apart again.
If you feel the block is trash why not try Irontite, just loop the heater core before you use it. or try putting an anti fouler on your number 6 plug. what do you have to lose?

I just read a post about a local shop (British Auto Works). I just called for Carlos the owner. I will try and bring it by to get a more pinpointed diagnostic. Im not opposed to getting my hands dirty. Im opposed to finding out my efforts were wasted (and hearing the wifey complain about more money into the rover). Ill keep you all posted. Thanks for the input!
Update..... After a lengthy conversation with the gents at Expedition Imports located in St James. (Long Island NY) As per the sticky on reputable shops....
I've decided to throw in the towel. Just negotiated a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and $3000 for my trade in. Its been a fun ride!! (since Jan 2010) ups, downs and everything in between. Ill truly miss this truck. Now I have to find something to do with all the free time Ill have on weekends. Lol
