Default Code read help

Hey guys I'm digging and don't see anything on this. Likely because I'm doing it wrong.
But this code is up and not sure what are where to start.

In my brief search of code p1884 I saw some thing about limp mode? Well I was driving home today and at random times it would suddenly slow down like it ran out of fuel then 2 seconds later be back to normal. No drop in RPM so likely not a fuel issue. Felt maybe like it was changing gears at the wrong times but checked trans fluid level seems plenty(truck was running in park).

Any help yall have thanks in advance.

Could be a bad MAF - if you have access to a known good one, that'd be a good troubleshooting step. For the most part, it seems like people don't recommend trying to clean them.

Rather than using the forum search, I usually like to use google and force it to look at our D2 forum: https://www.google.com/search?client...overy-ii-18%2F
