Default Code reader?

I'm looking for an inexpensive code reader that will reset the Three Amigos. It has only happened to me once and I was with a large group but is always in the back of my mind. I know there are several out there and am looking for something very basic but that will accomplish that. Thanks.

I bought an Autel 619 off amazon for $100. Did the trick for the 3 amigos and it’s nice to have around for the other cars as well!

The cheapy diagnostic testers like the Autell 619 and the iCarsoft can clear fault codes for the 3 amigos.
But if you plan to keep your Disco 2 for awhile invest in a Land Rover specific diagnostic tester like a Foxwell NT510 or NT520 or Nanocom Evolution. Not cheap tho...

Nanocom-diagnostics.com. Been thinking about picking up one of these nanos, unfortunately not cheap. I also u my phone with a veekpeak wifi OBD2 for just reading codes.

I will look at the Nanocoms. I do plan to keep my Discovery pretty much forever. I've decided I would like something that helps me to be more independent and able to do more repair work myself. A quality diagnostic tools seems like a smart investment.

You can always rent mine if needed. There's a sticky at the top. I'd definitely recommend getting your own though if you're going to have a disco in your life for a long time. This thing has proven INVALUABLE throughout my ownership. Even things like... bleeding brakes. It can do that for you.
