Default Random issues with blower motor

I have a 2003 land rover discovery and recently have been having issues with the blower motor. When the ac is on high after about a minute or two the air shuts off entirely (zero flow of any temp) but the display still says its on. After a few minutes the air flows again then this process just repeats. It normally doesnt do this when the fan speed is on a lower setting. In addition to this issue i have a hardwired dashcam that is utilizing a addafuse under the steering wheel and for some reason during this fan process the power for the camera gets shut off as if they are tied together.

You have the dreaded cracked solder fusebox issue. I resoldered mine a few time, got tired of redoing it over and over and finally bypassed it per the write ups. Do a search.

I got a fuse box for 10$ so i figured I’d give it a try not knowing if it will effect anything else and it did. The truck will now not turn over or anything no cranking and I have the blinking red security light. Does this mean the key is programmed to the fuse box is there other reasons for this? I have a Hawkeye tool that is all electronic control I have. If i can’t use the new fuse box I’ll remove it and try to fix the original using the write ups

Yeah, you have to program the fuse box to the truck. After installing turn the key on and let it sit for 20 minutes. It should start then.

That's my thread from years ago. I had issues in both fuse locations (interior and under hood).

Worry about interior fuses first. Look at the picture in that thread of the backside of the interior fuse block. I have rear air installed, so fuses 6 and 7, in my case. If you don't have rear a/c, skip that part, and use main a/c blower wire only. The locations are specifically noted. The pink and brown wire is power supply into the fuseblock. Pry it out of the connector, it has a spade bit already attached. Attach it to an inline fuse matching factory spec fuse (noted in thread). Remove the wire going from the fuseblock to the blower (connector and color noted in thread) and attach it to other end of inline fuse. Tape or shrink wrap the connections, and it should work.
