Code time-will it hurt the wallet?
Got these -P1178.....P0300.....P1316.....P0308....P304. The printout says fuel air metering for 1178.Misfire on #8(P0308)misfire on #4(P0304)Random misfire for P0300.P1178 says "amfr correction at maximum positive value"[:@]I don't get the last one.I'm sitting down with my calculator awaiting bad news[sm=smiley11.gif]I have to say that I really like this site.I have been doing alot of searching in the archive to learn more-so as not to look like a dumb newb.I have auto experience-just not with the OBDII system.Once I have enough jack to "afford" a manual,I will tackle alot more concerning my rig.If you folks could help me out-I'll buy the first round[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

RE: Code time-will it hurt the wallet?
P-1179 is also common for a O2 sensor going bad. Could be related to the other problems too. You need to have the system plugged into a Rovercom or Autolodgic computer to determin which O2 sensor may be going bad. The handheld OBD-II systems do not tell you this information. Or, the software from OBD2.com may help out if you wanted to buy a low budget system...

Thanks Hank-I had a gut feeling it was related to an 02 sensor.Although, after looking at the prices for replacement(s)[sm=smiley35.gif]I was afraid to admit it.Any "cheap" sources for O2's you guys/gals may know of?I can see there are 2-is there a third I can't see?
