Once I get my computer up and running again I can, unless somebody else chimes in first.

Thanks Spike. 2 weeks in the 04 now and these things are already popping up. This forum and you in particular Spike have really helped.

P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0442 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (small leak)

P1319
Land Rover
Misfire with Low/Empty FuelDrive cycle C:Signal out of range - above maximum

Not sure what this all means, a misfire because of fuel delivery? Do they keep popping up after you erase them?

So when was this last tuned, ever replaced the plug wires? How many miles on the truck and what fuel do you use?

Start with the gas cap.
90% of mis fires on a LR are due to bad plug wires, and what ever you do, use only, and I mean only, Magnecor plug wires. On a DII it is a royal PIA to replace the plug wires and you do NOT want to be doing that job again in a month.

Mike Truck has 52k. I know it had it regular schelduled service by a LR dealer at around 46-48k, but I AM DOUBTING THE TUNE UP.I have only used premium since I have had it about 2 weeks. I looked at the spark plug wires and you can tell on a couple there is some heat damage. I will try the gas cap .

Somebody will correct me if I am wrong, but LR doesnt do a tune up until 60,000 miles. SO it is VERY doubt full that the dealer did one, and remember, just because the dealer recommends that something be done when you bring your car to them it does not mean that it was done.
If you can find out if they flushed the cooling system, it is supposed to be done every 45,000 miles.

With a hand held scanner.
You will find, they will come back. How mechanical are you?
