Unhappy Codes P0305 P1590 P0300 P0734

Throwing all kinds of codes... 2001 Discover II with 160k miles.

Have had the p0734 on and off for a while. Put a new air filter and Bosch MAF in it several months ago.

The other codes started this week. Only happens when my transmission fails to shift properly to fourth. have new plugs, wires, and a pair of replacement 02 Sensors ready to go.

Afraid she might have some serious transmission issues, but looking for any help or feedback, thanks!

Aron, Kansas City

P1590 is tough road related to ABS, the 0300 is a general misfire code, 0305 is cylinder 5 misfire.

Download the RAVE and you can look up 0734. I am not familiar.

p0734 is incorrect gear ratio for 4th gear... I am thinking these all may go back to some exhaust system issues... Occasionally get a fault code for bad 02 sensors. Haven't seen the MAF code in a while. Hoping I don't have a blown head gasket... Like I said, plugs and wires and O2 sensors are going on this weekend. Just curious to see if anyone else has any experience/suggestions/insight. Also possible that my transmission is going out, probably the right mileage for that...

I had a P0734 with a loose airbox lid. The gear for 4th is triggered by a MAF reading so this could be cause by the air filter, air box, or the MAF as well.

Hmmmm... Will try the box. Have already replaced filter and MAF. Thanks for the tip, will let you know if that does anything...

Hope you get this fixed. I'm in KC as well. Working on the three amigos this weekend... What part of the city are you in?

Over in Waldo. Had the three amigos for a while now... But the misfire issue is making me nervous.
