Codes: P1300 P0301 P0305 P0300 P0303 P1172 P1175
Hello
I have the following codes on my 2002 Disco:
P1300 P0301 P0305 P0300 P0303 P1172 P1175
1172 & 1175 I have dealt with before, related to MAF. My MAF's one mounting bracket has cracked and fallen off, I clean the outside hose of sand and dirt then I re-tape it with clean duct tape and after a day or two the SES light goes off. The MAF appears clean and good working order. Would a new MAF stop this irritating cycle?
After some research here on the forum the other 0300 level codes, I think, are due to plugs and wires. Is this true? I just had the plugs and wires done maybe 500 miles ago. Can they really be burnt up, fouled, or in that bad of shape at this point?
Any help is, as always, appreciated! Thanks!
Gabe

Don't spray stuff into the MAF. You may wreck it.
Punch the codes into
http://enginecodemaster.com
and see what they mean.
If you are running super lean - you may get misfires.
Make sure the MAF has no air leaks from where the bracket was cracked off.
Use jbweld to fix air leaks or epoxy.
You proably should get a new MAF tho.
As you want the right part in there and not a hack job.

You were right! LKQ set me right. I got the air filter cover box and a MAF from a 2000 Disco for $50. SES light gone, truck running well.
Cheers!
