You do not need to take off the intake manifold:

It would be easier though if you have access to child labor though, small hands are good with a disco.

Before you jump into the wires you might want to talk with me for a few tips and short cuts, by the way, I don't have your number.

Sorry DiscoMike didn't see you post before i jumped into it. OK guys here is the story. I consider myself halfway mechanical--I have a 6.90 210mph Twin Turbo Outlaw 10.5 drag car, SO i printed out the instruction you guys gave on here and it worked PERFECT---everything was as expected and I completed the job in about an 1:45 minutes. The truck runs GREAT NOW...then BOOM running around service engine soon light came on again!! ARRGGGG BUT it is still running smooth..so i will have the code read today on whatever it is and let you VERY smart guys know. I want to say THANKS so far for the help--this site is invaluable to someone like me who can tackle a job like this with your guidance. I will get the NEW codes and let you know what it says......BUT are you kidding me??? A coil placed there????? WHY???? LOLOLOL GOD BLESS ALL DISCO OWNERS!! One must love them to go through this!

Just replace O2 sensors as pairs.

You have to drain and fill transmission fluid underneath. You will have to buy a small gear oil pump. I believe Spike555 just did an overview of the fluid change.

UNREAL!!! after plugs truck is running great...then service engine soon light came back on--had to work so figured i would send wife by to auto zone to read codes. they told her o2 sensor bank 2 sensor 1--and told her it was o2 after cat. therefore, she went ahead and got one---then i replaced it. guess what--service engine soon light came back on and i was so mad that i was sure they gave her wrong one she went down there again and got these codes.......p0174, p1174 and p0150

Im gonna replace all of them now i guess but so frustrated with those people. anyway, can't say it enough but thanks to all you on here!!

ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS???
