Bcolins,

you don't have to remove the Intake manifold to do this mod. as for the price you should PM LR03NJ or Gerry for this information. It is a MUST HAVE mod for your vehicle. If you are mechanically inclined you should be able to do it in a day if you take your time and detail your engine bay at the same time. I highly recommend it.

roger

Hello all
Awesome mod
I just ordered this kit off of ebay and tracked it down to this website.
Im a long time LR fan (love hate relationship)
Ive been on Discoweb for 16 years.

reading the thread i think i missed the Ignition wires length.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
My 04 disco is on its second renewal/refurb/rebuild since i bought it new as the last of the discos.
regards
Jim
PS
you should include the wires with the kit and up the price.
I paid 177.00 on ebay and thats way to cheap for the work that went into this.

Im realizing its not being sold to me by Gerry
I hope im not getting ripped off and gerrys not getting ripped off.
seller has a 100% rating.

The "kit" off eBay should be called a bracket instead of a kit. That's all that if comes with.

it comes with the bracket and mounts as well as the wire holders and the custom extension cables to relocate the coil packs. al configured and designed by the author of this thread. it has literally saved my life in order for me to travel across the country and feel safe about my rogerrover.

if you have time to waste, you can do what i did. Buy a parts store 8mm DIY wire set and build your own. You have to uncrimp the coil side connectors from the factory wires, and re-crimp them onto the new wires, which you cut to length.

This has worked great for me but it took about two hours to build the wires and some might find that too taxing.

****** Gerrys kit is all professionally done and very well engineered.*** I don't find any car work taxing at all even with my MS however when someone builds a better mousetrap purchasing and installing... this has been it for sure.

roger.
