Default Collapsed radiator hose

I own a 2002 Land Rover Discovery Series II. In the morning before starting vehicle, I noticed my upper radiator hose is collapsed/ a vacuum has occurred. I opened the coolant reservoir cap and the vacuum was released. What causes this?

Replace coolant reservior cap, or run it partially cracked open just a bit...until you get one...and see if that makes a difference.

Sensor, oil pump, or bearings for the oil light. Does it flicker at idle upon a cold start or once it gets warmed up?

Besides what's already been mentioned, do you have a device to monitor engine temps? Not a bad idea to have one, since higher than normally engine temps can really thin the oil out. The gauge in the cluster is useless, for exact temp monitoring.

Default Oil light

I had the oil light issue evaluated. Oil pressure was good, sensor is functioning properly. However, I did change the oil to 5w 30- too thin. I’m switching to 15w 40.
