Default Condenser fan motor

I read all the threads and it's now clear as mud. Will either or both of these fit an 04 D2? I see the part numbers mentioned in both D1 and D2 threads but then people commented they don't use the same motor. One of these also looks like the correct connector as well

Looks like the spacing on the three mounting tabs should line up with the fan housing but getting the fan blade onto the motor shaft might be another story. Why not just get a used one from eBay or your local salvage yard?

I used VDO PM9128 but the connector was different. A little solder, some heat shrink and the old connector, good as new.

I used the engine Efan out of a 98 Toyota Corolla. Dropped right in without any mod minus the connector. The AC efan on the same car works on a 94-99 D1.

I can CONFIRM the PM9261 is an exact fit including the connector, mounting tabs and shaft on the motor to connect the fan. $60 at Rock Auto.

Can someone update the sticky

I bought the second one in the pic PM9116 I assumed (yeah I know) I would need to change out the connector. Anyone know if that is correct?

See my post above. The one I got had the correct connector. The other one doesn't have the right connector as far as I could tell
