Default Condenser Fans not turning on

Hello, new to the forums and my first post. I have 98 Disco I with 127k. I noticed when ever I turn my A/C on the front (2) condenser fans do not come on. Checked the relay and the fuse and everything ok. Is there something else I can check or did my fans give out? How do I get to the fans? I cannot figure out how to take the front grille off to get to the fans. Any suggestions?? Thanks

There are 3 screws holding the grille on. You will probably have to pull the corner lights (held in by a spring) and take off the headlight finishers ( one screw on each side and pull them out from the grille).

Then you can check voltage at the connections with the a/c on.

It is detailed in the Rave manual, a free download in my sig.

Try and hot wire your fans, if they come on then most likely the switch on the a/c line has failed.
Usually the fans quit from old age.
Do they come on when it is warm out and you are doing stop and go driving, if not the fans are gone.
They are important to keep the engine from over heating and should be fixed ASAP.

relay board under RH fascia. Below glove box.

Download the manual if you don't have it. Everything is in there.

I will download the rave asap. Cool thanks for the pic. I was looking at the wrong relay. Can I use a standard 40amp relay if it's bad?

Can you spin the fans by hand? If not the bearings are seized and you need new fans.
If they still spin easily then it is a relay or sending unit.

Fans spin freely. I checked the location from the pic provided to me and where a relay is suppose to be is not. I went ahead and pluged in a relay and high beams came on but fans did not work. Any ideas?
