what we like? anyone running those plastic/polycarbonate cones? I like the quite Idea of the plastic, but dunno

I like my cones dipped at Dairy Queen....what the Hell are you talking about?!?!!

Dislocation cones? If so that is the route I'm looking at, supposedly quieter than the metal cones.

do they still hold the dipped cone upside down at dq, right before they give it to you?
I always go for the dilly bar

No, that wasn't pointed at you. Just in general, retain top and bottom. Cones seem great, but in reality they're not always 100% and you'll have more issues than they solve. Retaining will limit articulation a tiny bit, but worth the peace of mind.

what about the xspring set up? i don't like the idea of supplemental springs, pushing my junk, but??
and, peace of mind is overrated.....makes things boring

I would absolutely do the XSpring. Justin should have/can get them. I was interested in them for a while. I just know they'd corrode too much in VT, trapping all the salt and brine in them.
