Default A confusing coolant leak

I have a small leak running down the front driver side of the block , looked up top but cannot see from where go back down and wait for it to come down and it comes down very very slow maybe the water pump I'm hoping and not a head gasket! 136,000 miles

Could be headgasket. Go a little further up and it could be Throttle body heater plate or the little coolant hoses to the throttle body heater.

Here is a plumbing map. The front cover, which the water pump mounts to, has water channels thru it, plus the head gaskets, plus the valley pan gasket, the throttle body heater, and all these fine hose connectors. You can borrow a coolant pressure tester from parts store, pump up to 15 PSI, and wait 30 minutes, leak should show up. Easier to find without fan spinning and wanting to ****** your dreadlocks out of your scalp.

You need to do a pressure test.. As savannah said. but remember that the truck needs to be cold. not cooled down after running it.. for best results. Build pressure to 15psi and then go have a look. It should be a whole lot easier to locate. And this is something you really want to do on the sooner rather than later side of things. as it can only get worse once it starts. Most non head gasket leaks are easy to fix. Let us know what you find. As there may be other fixes you can attend to once you find out exactly what is in need of repair.
