Default connection clips for seats in disco 2

When I took the front drivers seat out for floor work, I noticed that the front of the leather cover was not attached to anything. The stitching that held on a piece of plastic fell out.

I'm assuming that plastic was supposed to attach to some kind of hook mechanism that holds the front of the seat leather to the metal structure below. anyone have a pic of
these pieces and where you can get them? another TO-DO....

thx.

It's something like this thats supposed to be in the end of the leather.

It clips onto the seat frame.

checked on ebay and they sell strips of leather with a hole on one end and a longer hole on the other...so presumably you just punch a hole in the bottom stitched area and loop the piece of leather around the steel frame and fasten it to the backside.

are there holes drilled in these J hook clips that allows you to sew them into the leather seat edge? or do you just drill the hole in them?
