connectorUnder passanger seat(factory amp??)
My truck came with an aftermarket stereo in it. crappy install job as well. but there is a loose connecter under the passenger seat is that from the old factory amp... or am i missing something
ahhh i see. so where specifically is the factory amp as I would now like to check that he bypassed it or used line level as the stereo sounds like crap. Weird how suddenly you can get a bug up your *** about something you didnt care about a couple hours ago....
You have a DI right?
The amps are in different locations for DI and DII's.
For the DI it is behind the glove box kinda but under the dash but ontop of the floor board...
All I know is it is under the passenger dash, when I had a aftermarket installed thats what they told me.
They had to bypass it because there were no line inputs on it, just a factory plug from the headunit.
