Default Considering a 5" lift

I have a 04 Disco with 3" Terrafirma lift, adjustable Pan hard bar, Longer Watts bar, longer stainless steel brake lines. I have 33" tires and just added rock sliders. I installed them far back as possible but still rub up front when turning up a bump. Got a set of 2" suspension spacers. Curious if this will workout without killing my truck. I do very little off roading, mostly camping on dirt trails. Also have newer prop shaft and rebuilt rear drive shaft.

Just curious why adding 2" more of lift? You won't gain any more suspension travel, will certainly need castor corrected radius arms and longer brake lines. For your usage this is just adding more stress for what I'm not sure. If the goal is to not have the tires rub the sliders, grind or cut the spacers and have a cap welded back on if you needed to cut that much off.

The lift was to avoid the rubbing. Shaving the sliders was my first thought but didnt want to get into that. Second guessing that I may have to. Dont care to go higher to be honest.

Definitely trim the sliders plus you'd still rub when articulating unless you did a body lift..

Going above 3" requires a lot more involved work. Castor corrected arms are a must, as are driveshafts. Multiple double cardon in the front and a double cardon in the rear with u-joint conversion.

Add on top longer rear shocks, and at that height even the extended watts is probably going to see a bit of trouble, though I won't say that for sure. Also longer sway bar links, and I would say at that height simply disconnecting the way bars is no longer a safe option.

Your brake lines and ABS sensor extensions *might* be sufficient, but I'd be skeptical.

Trimming the sliders is going to be your best route. By far in my opinion.

Shaved the sliders so no longer a problem. Looking at the rig I feel like it’s sitting lower than 3 inches due to the sliders, bumpers, etc. curious if the spring spacers would really make that big of a diff. Have ext sway bar links, installed the watts linkage, and recently installed new prop shaft and rebuilt rear shaft with a new u joint and new bushing.

Measure from the center of your wheel to the wheel arch and report back your measurements. Factory spec is 19"+/-.5" in the rear, 19.5"+/-.5" in the front.

But yes, spacers on top of a lift will make that big of a difference. Rebuilt shafts don't matter if they are not of the correct design to handle the more extreme drive line angles.

I’m at 21” at the back and 21.5” in the front.

You're right at 2" or 2.5" of lift then with the weight on your truck. That will set you solidly at 4"-4.5" with the blocks. I've still recommend against it, and I'm generally for pushing those limits. I feel you'll start having driveshaft issues. Some people report issues with excessive driveshaft wear at 3" of lift, making your driveshafts a regular maintenance item.

Wonder if that’s why I have vibrations at 70/80 mph!?
