I saw an earlier post with no resolution. Has anyone used a blank off bolt to plug up the SAI ports on a set of heads?

question. is that sai nipple steel? do you know approx. diameter?

 

I think it's stainless. I did know the thread size at one time. I'll see if I can find it. It's and odd one, nothing you can buy a plug for at lowes. You could re-thread the hole to a standard pipe thread and plug it. I seen one with the nipples welded up once where somebody used sai heads on a non sai truck.
