Just out of curiosity, what would happen if you add a regular coolant (aluminum-safe like Peak) to a system that has not been fully rid of the Dexcool?

i'm not sure but if were me i would stick to dex-cool. 2003 onward the dex-cool coolant was standard on all discos. i rather not take the chance.
reading though thread off and on it seems discos on prone for overheating.
