Default Coolant draining out of overflow after driving..

Bosses 2000 D2 was 2 gallons low on coolant. He said there was no puddles, leaks. I filled the coolant up using the methods described here. Let the car heat to normal temps. A bit drained out the overflow tube. Drove the car for 20 minutes, did not overheat, turned the car off and within a couple of minutes coolant was pouring out of the overflow tube and I heard a boiling sound. Any ideas where to begin?

Owner got this car a few months ago and the head gasket was replaced 20K miles ago. No leaks in the system, hoses are all good.

real time gauge, like ultra or scan or something is needed so he can read the actual temps.

I don't have access to that, but I do have infrared thermometers.

Do you have access to an obdii code reader with live data?

Ok, top hoses are all around 185F, thermostat and hose below is 107F. I assume it's not opening up....

Not with the live data. Just a standard code reader.

Step 1

Replace radiator with Nissens radiator from rockauto.com
Replace thermostat with low temp 180 degree Rover thermostat (not a Motorad)
Replace fan clutch with a HD Hayden from ebay - get a NEW one.

IF you STILL have antifreeze blowing out the coolant tank

Replace head gaskets.

Done.

Radiator, all hoses, and fan clutch were replaced last year. Head gasket 20K miles ago. It's not my car, but I do have the records for it. Thermostat looks to be a light brown if that matters.
