If he told you you needed head gaskets, why didn't you do them??????????????????????
How many miles on your truck?
Plan on $1600 for head gaskets plus head work if you over heated your engine.

DiscoMike, no means am I trying to step on your toe's here.... where's the leak coming from... I just did my Valley Pan Gasket and it was leaking from up top and then running down to the bottom of the bell housing and splattering off the crossmember bar... if it's doing that then I would say it could be what I found... Valley Pan Gasket... Just A thaught... I am no mechanic but am somewhat mechanically enclined and this took me about 12 hours to complete along with an extra set of hands

No your mechanic did not mess up your car.
Blown head gaskets are a certainty on DII's.

So it is safe to say you really don't know what your mechanic did to your truck for $220, it certainily wasn't headgaskets.
What is your current problem and what exactly did this guy to your truck the first time around. Without that information it is hard for us to try and help you.

Disco Mike,
yes you are right. it was intake at first time I went to fix, but when was leakin again he told me it's headgaskets. car was at shop for 7 days he called me and said we have little problem multiple missfire codes. so they towed the car to land rover dealer.
problem was spark plug wires and installed incorrectly and missing parts. mechanic I went to fix car in first place for leaks I dont know what he did for 7 days! he did not charged me anything for second time leak or towing.
I end up paying land rover dealer $1,100.00 to fix.headgaskets have not been touched that what mechanic told me at land rover dealer.
I ask mechanic how you can tell he said by screws it is old ones.
you guys tell me who to believe!
