I had a few leaks after my HG job. Took it back to my indy Rover mech and he found 2 hard-metal tubes were leaking. One was rusted with a pin hole and the other was JB Welded and the JB Weld had come off. (These are things that a previous owner had done), lastly after that was fixed I still had a leak. Took it back again and the culprit this time was one of the freeze plugs. It's been replaced and so far no more leaks. I paid $4300 for this truck in Dec 2009 and I am now up to $4400 + in repairs so far.....

I think I found the source. Coolant pipe that runs from lower intake to the heater core has a puddle under it and it looks like it streamed down were the rocker cover and head meet.

The start of the leak

Were I originally saw the leak.

There is an o-ring on that black pipe running to the heater core, my guess is it's failed on you.

That or it wasn't torqued right I couldn't get a t-wrench in there so I tightened it as much as I could. I was and I still am in a hurry to get it running. Its in my mom's driveway and she is losing patience with it being there. Ahhh to own a house with a proper garage and not live in apartment.
