Default coolant leak, as always the problem

I'm currently leaking coolant from the bottom of the valve cover, driver side rear corner. Is it head gasket or cracked head?? I am not burning coolant, and the engine has never been hot. No check engine light, either

OK...after snooping around, I discovered a leak from perhaps the throttle body heater tubes. It is dripping down on the front of the valve cover, and dripping off on the very corner at the rear. I thank the Gods -o- coolant that it is not a head gasket. does anyone know the shop repair for this job?? I will not work on this engine with a ten foot pole.

It's should be pretty cheap. It's a 20 minute job. Bleeding the coolant system will take longer than replacing the gasket. So, rounding up to a full hour's labor, they'll probly charge you $100.

Like many others including myself have done you can bypass it with a 1/4" hose mender.
