Default Coolant leak found, Still need help

I have been seeing a minor leak of coolant that seems to be dropping off the truck around the bell housing. Thursday I seemed to see a lot of drip around the water pump so I thought that it must have a small leak. Since I was not sure if and when it may have been replaced I ordered another from Lucky8. Well, yesterday after doing a transmission filter change we noticed a lot more coolest coming out. Oh no, it looked like it was coming out the head!!! Upon further inspection it seems not to be coming from there but from the front in the center. The PO decided to bypass the throttle body heater, probably due to leaking and he was in Georgia and low and behold it is leaking from where it comes out the block/ intake. So I went and orders all new hoses for the throttle body and from there to the manifold de-icer as well as a TB gasket rebuild kit. My question is this, how do I get to that hose at the manifold? It looks like I will have to take the intake off to get to it. Please tell me that there is a easier way.

Thanks,

You don't need to take off the IM at all, but you do need to move the AC compressor out of the way at least

Thanks, I looked at that but wasn’t sure if it would move without having to unhook it and lose the Freon.

Just unbolt compressor and it will swing out of the way. The hoses are rubber, so this allows you to rest the removed compressor on the air filter housing or in that area.

if you remove the air filter box, you get a nice little resting place for the A/C Condenser.

Since it's an 03...me...l'd skip removing the air filter lid and filter. For whatever reason, those clips on the 03/04 air filter lids are crap. It's one of those areas that you mess with...when only necessary (IMO). My 01 is bullet proof in that area.

Yes, those clips are a pain.
