Coolant leak, overheat and P306

@Birdog Well did they tear it down ? A slipped sleeve and coolant leak are not always combined, do you have any more info ?

Based on your original description and their diagnosis of the failure it is not repairable. Suggest you source a replacement engine, 99-01 blocks are the best.

I am not positive they tore it down, I did not ask that specific question. Not sure how they would know the sleeve had slipped unless they took it apart in some way. But he did say coolant was entering the engine and I was having coolant leak through the reservoir cap with an overheat light.
