Coolant Loss - TD5
Hi All,
Just bought a high mileage TD5 1999 and have to fill up the expansion tank almost every other day.
- The car doesn't overheat - it barely gets up to temp unless I put my foot down and even then it will soon drop back down to low temp at normal driving.
- No white smoke coming out
- Looks like oil in expansion tank? see picture
I'm not too familiar with the TD5's so not sure where to start looking - any advice?
Cheers - Theo

Typically, the oil cooler would be subject in this case.

Might be cheaper ones out there, but just an idea on cost.

Hi All,
Finally got round to looking at this.
The o rings inside the cooler are shot so need replacing.
I have bought the gasket for the oil cooler to block (and all the other gaskets needed).
Does anyone know where I can buy the o rings in the picture?
I bought these but seem to be for a different part of the cooler: ERR7098
TIA,
