Default Coolant in oil

A friend of mine has an 02 D2 with a 4.0 (edit). It overheated on him and he drove it about 5 miles home.

The thermostat was the culprit however now the oil is a milkshake.

Figuring it was a head, I did a compression test on each cylinder but all 8 tested at about 150 psi and held.

Where else could the coolant and oil be mixing?

Thank you

Also it's running like trash. It sounds like it's missing however the check engine light is not coming on.

First, do not restart the engine, which if stock is a 4.0.
Second, lets don't do this third hand, your friend stands a real good chance of loosing that engine, especially after driving it over 5 miles while overheating, good chance he has dropped a sleeve and if that is the case, the engine is junk.
Consider having him PM me his tele number so we can talk.
