Hi everyone,

I am a new owner of a Disco1 mpi 93'. I have a problem with the cooloing system. Who can tell me where the relay of the cooling fans are. I was told that it is on the passanger side but there are about five or six there. How can I know which one it is.

What engine is the MPI? Is itpetrol?
Do the air conditioning fans not come on at all when the A/C is on?
You might want to follow the wiring backwards, start at the fan and then follow it back to the engine.
We dont have the MPI here in the USA, we only have the gas (petrol) engine and we didnt get Discovery's until 1994.
Do you have a 3 or 5 door?

 

There are four on the left side of the block, it is the one closest to the firewall. Basically, with the block hanging down, it is the top left. Washer relay is next, then ABS load relay, then ABS pump.

Google the Rave CD download. It is the worksop manual in a searchable pdf format. It is free and a great resource.

The fans should only come on if you are overheating or your A/c is on.

okdguy, you know that he has the 4 cylinder and lives in Greece right?
I looked on my RAVE CD under the MPI but couldnt fine the wiring diagram.
