Cooling System Issue
#23
Ran it this morning, coolant bottle cap off to temp to see if an air bubble would burp out of radiator, desperate times and all that, and that didn't get results. Took a drive with the heater on full blast, car runs awesome, but temps were 204-207 driving, and 215 when I parked.
When stopped it did feel like more of the radiator was warm, but definitely the Top Drivers side is engine temp, and the rest significantly less especially the top Passenger side.
The 180 degree thermostat again tested ok on the stove.
Plan of action is to get Vinegar and distilled water, and fill up the radiator with it, soak, drain and blow out with a shop vac both directions.
I have never been able to figure out how to get the the engine block coolant plugs.

I decided to do Zerex Radiator Flush.
At this point I am leaning towards a bad radiator. How? I have no idea, but the Top by the intake is Hot, but gets dramatically cooler as you go left. I mean, yes, the fans will cool it, but something is wrong.
Side note, should a thermostat have a rattle?

Not sure it will fit, but it’s worth a shot. I will pinch off the hose on the top of the thermostat. See if that will get fluid circulating thru the radiator.
I am going to pull off hoses tomorrow and inspect, I really wonder if I stuffed a towel somewhere to block a port, and it’s sucked in somewhere. I really don’t think so, but who knows.
