Put the e-brake on, tranny in netural as well as the t/case, then try it clock wise only, about 45 degrees.

Spike I tried it going both ways, just to see if it would move and it wouldnt at all.

Mike I did have the parking brake on, and was in neutral/neutral... wouldnt go....

thing is it worked a couple months ago, and I changed the gear oil in the transfer case with Royal Purple 75-140 but neglected to lock it up and run it thru the hi and lo positions, forward and reverse like i did the first time i got it engaged.... I fear the worst as i just didnt use the CDL after lubing.

so if i can get into low but cant move the nipple, is it just a solenoid issue in there, or is the transfer case beat?

I got it! the wd-40 took a little bit of sitting and I was finally able to UNseize the pin and engage CDL... I thought it was messed up when i went to unlock it, because the light on the dash of axles didnt want to go out, but i got it to go out after i was sure i was all unlocked and went 30 ft straight ahead and it went out.... AKrover thanks for the idea man i was worried my CDL wasnt workin.
