I seem to have something going on in the heater core. I hear something that is similar to the waterfall sound when I first get moving. I have bled the system several times. I have bled these rovers dozens of times and I do know how. I thought maybe the direction of flow was giving me the sound.

Not sure that the direction of flow could do that. Have you lifted the front end while bleeding? Maybe lift the front end up with the bleeder screw out overnight? I've heard the waterfall sounds once during a flush, but have avoided that issue.
If you are still unsure about the routing of the hoses, just get on Roversnorth's website and take a look at the cooling system, or the Rave of course.
Heater hose routing = doesn’t matter it’s an in/out system. I had gurgling on my 02 Kalahari, then it stopped so I figured an air bubble, then when it got cold I had no heat. The gurgling I had was from a clogged heater core that finally clogged up. I removed the OEM lines, flushed it backwards first & a huge blob of white snot shot out, let it run clear for 5min then I flushed it the opposite way & just replaced the line with 6.00 worth of 5/8 heater hose & I routed it straight in/out.

Not to toot my own horn but I can bleed a Disco in my sleep. I think Best 4x4 is onto something. I will flush the heater core out and see if that works. The sound is more of a glurg and not like the waterfall.

Yep just make sure you first flush it in the opposite direction first. You wanna push the clog out the way it came in or was made vs push it further into the core itself. Either way flush it with a hose. Mine truly puked out some nasty stuff between a large zit & snot lol. After that zero issues or sounds.
