you can buy a brand new Kia Soul for $15k roughly..
Yeah yeah, not a rover.. But it will take 1/2 the gas
and have a warranty too.

Drove one a few years ago as a rental.
Sounds like a sewing machine.
Had a great bluetooth system for the phone..

I did not mind it.

If you get smacked in it - in an accident - you'll fare better in the rover.
But, the Kia probably will not need head gaskets in the first 70,000 miles.

The headgaskets thing is actually a bonus - if you are looking for an inexpensive rover to fix.

 

KBB and market value are two different things. With as many rovers for sale as there are no disco 2 is worth more then $10k.
