crank pulley
Is there a trick to getting the crank pulley off with the radiator still in? I've got a three arm puller and I just don't have enough room to back the screw out. Thanks!
Yes, the crank pulley will clear the radiator, however, you will not have a room to use an impact wrench without removing the radiator, unless you have one of the really fancy and expensive slim hydraulic torque wrenches. BTW, there is no need for a puller as the shaft end is no tapered. There is a key-way with a key that keeps the pulley from spinning.

Did this last night, had assistant jam the torque converter and I used a 22" breaker and it spun right off. I grabbed the pulley and it slid right off, no need for a puller unless you have some rust issues.
Thanks to a leaking FMS my pulley and shaft was well lubricated and did not fight me one bit. I have a "mini" impact that I could have used, but since I need to re-torque to spec I figured take the 5 mins to pull the inspection cover. Now I just need the new seal....

FMS came out in pieces, was hard as rock and brittle.

I ended up renting a harmonic puller and it came right off. Now I can't seem to get the oil pan to drop. I have all the bolts out ( i think) and the thing wont budge. Do I have to pry it off? Don't want to crack anything. Anybody had that issue?
If all the bolts are off, then yes, you have to pry. You may have to unbolt the stabilizer bar from the chassis (not the steering arm) and let it hang to get enough clearance to remove the pan.
