Socket size for crank shaft pulley?

Default Socket size for crank shaft pulley?
What is the size of the nut on the crank shaft pulley (the one you turn to turn the engine)? I thought it was 25mm but that is too big. Is it 24mm or is it SAE? My socket set is lacking in the larger sizes.

1 inch socket with a breaker bar. Should come right off..

I tried a 1" and 25mm both would probably work but is too sloppy a fit for my liking (would hat to round it off at this point). I am going to return the 25mm and get a 24mm socket.
