Default Crazy Dream

I'm going out today with apprehension...

Last night I dreamed that I let my wife drive my HSE for the first time, and suddenly the "onboard diagnostic voice" (I assume I got that memory from my grandma's old Oldsmobile) started notifying us in its computer-man voice:

"Your Active Cornering Pump has gone bad, pull over as soon as possible.... You don't appear to be pulling over.... uhhg.... Your Active Cornering Pump has gone bad, but don't worry- it's actually not that expensive to fix. I guess you can keep driving, it shouldn't hurt anything, just get it fixed as soon as you can."

This whole while I'm in the passenger seat with my head in my hands, thinking, "HOW do these things ALWAYS happen when someone else drives my vehicle???"

She's warming up right now.. (the Disco)... hopefully nothing goes wrong today, lol.

Obviously a dream if it said it's not too expensive to fix. LOL I think you're being a little paranoid about all the bells and whistles causing problems. Probably too much time reading others' horror stories of stuff failing on this forum. Treat your Discos nice and give them lots of attention and they'll treat you good too.

After all your searching and flying across the country to find the right 04, I hope you never have a problem with it.

You're probably right about the jitters- great advice, man!

And I laughed pretty good at the "it was a dream if it said it wasn't too expensive" thing, hahaha.

I'm not worried about having problems with the thing, I plan on owning this hottie for at least 10 years no matter what goes wrong with it.

It might not always be my daily driver, but I'll always have it.

Pat
