Default CRC engine cleaner, good/bad?

My neighbor loves the stuff. He have me a bottle to put in the D2. Anyone ells run this stuff with good results?

He says he dumps the bottle in with the oil, drives 30 to 60 miles then dumps it and does a oil and filter change.

Helps remove sludge and carbon build up or so it says on the can.

I'm not familiar with this specific product, but I'd be reluctant to use any additive product not made by BG Products. I have high confidence that the stuff they make is high quality and has been tested to do what they say it is supposed to. I use the BG MOA oil treatment and the BG 44K fuel system cleaner. Their products are not cheap, but they do what they claim they'll do.

I've used Seafoam to do the same thing.

the other half in the engine oil?
They recommend that amount if 16oz can in the oil and run 100-300 miles. That's what I did and Rover still purrs.

Every time I have done the full seafoam treatment (gas tank and into the manifold) some other problem crops up like 02 sensors or a vacuum leak. Could be coincidence. Or it could be that my engine wants to be a little dirty.
