My center console lid is pretty cracked up and ugly. Rather than replacing it with a new, better looking oem piece, I was wondering if anybody had utilized the hinge/latch plate as a base for some cool idea.

Custom CB mount, better cup holder, anything? Most newer truck consoles have a much more sophisticated system whereas we basically have a bucket with a leather lid....
