Default Cross Breeding?

Will doors from a Disco I go on a Disco II?

There is a Disco I and a Disco II for sale in the "parts" section of my local craigs.

Also, are DI axles an improvement over the CV style axles we have in our DII's?

Went out for a night run, and I did a number on my rear door, which leaves one of 4 NOT needing body work.

I hate trees, and not having sliders.

Fact?

How do you make the different location and type of lock/latch mechanisms work?

It's safe to say the door architecture and skin is the same, lock/latch/hinge locations are not

Easiest way is to fit the D2 static latch receiver to the D1 body. I sold the set up to an acquaintance and he mounted it up. I saw it on the vehicle after, but did not get the exact details of his install.
