When I turn the wheel with the engine I get a pretty steady 8.75 volt no matter how fast or slow the wheel is turning . I get the exact same results when turning either rear wheel . I true testing with front wheels and get 0 volts at all times . Is this normal ? I have tried 2 different ecu's . Antilock brakes seem to work fine . No fault lights are on . Speedometer works ok , it does fluctuate a little now and then and it does read about 3mph slower then actual speed .

I have plenty of DII ECU's for $17.49 shipped with a 60 day replacement warranty. If you want one you can either use PayPal (paulgrant@mac.com) or you can call with a credit card (203-770-1699).
Cheers,
Paul

Hi, I have this same issue, 7-8v on rear wheel. Did all the other checks and held vacuum etc fine. Is there a resolution to this issues? Speed sensor faulty? I have an R380 in my '96 D1. Thanks!!

My voltage jumps from 12 volts to 0 averaging about 8 volts. Referring to test #7 about the VSS. your test says should be 0 to 5 volts. This is the only test that does not check out. Is that voltage saying my VSS is bad?
