Man oh man, thats a tough call, leather and sunburnt scalp or cloth and no sunburn...
Get the sunburn one.
The extra light is nice and the roof is stronger with the glass than without.

The drivers seat leather pretty worn but rest of seats good.
no rust on 95, 94 has some surface in door frame area.
One concern was the difference in the two years distributor/ignition systems any input on that?
5 speed was a must have in my search. What is average life of the clutch?

They both have the same ignition system.
They did not use electronic ignition until '96.

As for clutch life...depends on who drove it.
Odds are with the 200k one it has been replaced within the last 50k.

I've only had 96 and newer Rovers is there a drawback to the pre '96 ignition I should inquire about?

I like my leather and sunroofs but they're not worth 110k extra miles..go with the '94

The ignition module will eventually need to be re-located if it has not been already.
On the 200k truck odds are it has been, there is a relocation kit at AB.
The ignition module gets hot and fails, relocate it to a cooler place and problem solved.
The other draw back is the distributor, when it goes bad, in the 150-200k range, it can be hard to find a used one and new ones are anywhere from $200 for a aftermarket one to $600 for a OEM.
When you do a tune up you will also need to replace the cap and rotor, another $50? for the set but plug wires tend to be cheaper priced.

I may have posted to many parts, check the description to see if it fits a DI.
