I know next to nothing about timing, took me years to get a date.

use a light. If you get it too advanced, you will detonate and burn a cylinder.

Check between your radiator and evaporator. Over time crap builds up. If that doesn't help, get a laser thermometer and check the radiator all over for temp. Look for hot spots to see if it is flowing right. These babies have small tubes and can get clogged easily. Especially if someone put in stop leak to try to cure a leaky intake...

i like the themometer idea, if i find that i doo have a clogged radiator what to do next?

If you do need a new one becareful when buying off of e-bay, one of our guys got burned, it was advertised as out of a low mile rear ended truck, it was actually crud filled and had a hole in it.

well ill probly get to it this weekend, i've still got some other things ive got to get to like atf and diff fluid change. thanks
