i have an 03 disco2, how do you peel up the carpet by the door sills? i see that black plastic sill/carpet cover, but i dont want to break it by pulling it up, it also looks like the door pillar interior pieces sit on top of it.

i have some run-off from my floor mats, and want to make sure no salt got under the carpet, i have some crusty salt on the edge of the floor mat that ran off.
