Default D2 coolant

I know to use non dex-cool in the D2's, but what brand are you guys using, and where are you buying it?
None of the threads I read are recent, and I went to 2 auto parts stores the other day, and all they had were several brands of dex-cool.
Thanks for any advice.

I’ve used Prestone, Peak, and even walmart coolant.

All my rovers, D1 and D2's, use the old school green stuff. I just buy the premix from O'Rielly's. My shop put in the Valvoline Universal and I found that that truck ran a little warmer with that. Switched back to the green coolant and all is good.

I use green. No brand in particular, I'll use any of it. I buy concentrate and mix it very roughly 50/50 with distilled water.

I've been using Evans Waterless, but I am going back to green. It's tough to find, and I have had to top off with Peak so I am switching back. That is the only negative on the Evans.

I did see some Peak Diesel coolant that I think wasn't dex cool, but I was in a hurry and forgot to look it up later.

Thanks for the help guys, I really do appreciate it!

I use xerex G-05 HOAT. No complaints. Skip the genuine Land Rover coolant... that’s just silly
