D2 Cruise control not working
#11
Im not a 100% sure I had a local car stereo company so the work. I paid them for the radio and install. Since it is custom you would have to lower the AC unit so not sure if that is in your ability.

The cruise control unit is completely separate from any of the engine vacuum lines. It's pretty simple to remove the entire CC assembly and replace the couple of small vacuum lines on it.
Also, remember that you have to pull the Set button towards you. Pushing it does nothing.

It's also possible that the pump and its hoses are okay, but the bellows unit that pulls on the throttle cable is leaking.
Start taking a look in the area -- it's pretty logical and simple to understand once you identify the components.

Also Side note, I have the RAVE workshop book for:
1. Land Rover Discovery Series 2 Workshop Manual 1999-2003 MY
2. Discovery Series II WORKSHOP MANUAL - 1999MY ON
Do you know what the difference between to 2 are and what "MY" stands for on each?
I have a 2003 Land Rover Discovery 2 4.6 V8
