My friends call my Land Rover a "foreign Ford", after all it's issues.
I'll have to ask about the ticking in reverse, I'm curious now, and a friend has an 08 f150. I'll have to see if his ever has or does that.

Yeah my 08 was one of the later ones thank goodness without the spark plug issue as earlier 5.4’s had issues with. It was a great truck, but the ticking was the strangest thing in reverse and it was definitely an engine/exhaust tick vs a rattle or driveline related. Two Ford Dealers looked at it, and they never figured it out along with me. I’d probably still have that truck, but at the time I was “supposed” to be building our house then the mrs announced she was pregnant so we ended up having the house built and the need for a truck was gone. I jumped on SUV’s and swore to my wife no matter what I am not getting a minivan which is one of very few things we’ve ever agreed on lol!
