Default d2 keys

I have a key problem and I am hoping that some UK forum members can help me. I have been trying to program a new key for a d2 with my nanocom with no success as the vehicle is an owner import to Australia from the UK and after some research I have found out that UK keys are different to Aus keys and the Aus keys can not be programed to UK spec d2s . The problem is that UK keys are not available in Aus and after searching I can only find genuine LR cwe100680kit keys for sale at over AU$ 350 each plus postage , compared to $50 t0 $60 for an Aus cwe100690 after market key .Now the question ,is there after market keys or second hand keys available in the UK ? and if so where can I purchase them ?

There are 315MHz and 433Mhz versions of the remotes. That's the only difference that I am aware of. Try to find out which version you have. There are several ways to do this (e.g. check part number of the receiver, or check the transmit frequency of a working remote with an oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer or HAM radio). In Europe they used 433MHz, so probably you have a 433MHz receiver, if the car was imported from UK.
