Default D2 Part Compatibilities

Hey All! This is my first post and I am hoping to get myself into a D2 for the first time.

I have a few options and I was looking into the idea of buying both and using bits from each car to get one, solid machine. I am pretty mechanically inclines and have built motorcycles and worked on cars before but this project will be the largest one I have undertaken.

option 1: Red 1999
220k miles on the 4.0
trashed interior
great exterior
not running expects cps sensor issue

option 2: black 2003
60k miles on the 4.6 not running suspected xyz sensor
great interior
rough exterior
no title

my plan was to pull the interior from the black and toss it into the red car and I wanted to grab the sensors from the 4.6 and put them into the red car and run the motor into the ground while I work to pull the 60k engine and start a rebuild.

Will I run into issues with bolting the interior components from a 2003 into a 1999 and likewise on the engine sensors?

if there is a good resource for this please link it as well! I’ve been researching discos for a few weeks and think they would make for a great project for a car camper and explorer car!

Easier to move the exterior to the 03. Every body panel on a D2 bolts of essentially (Slightly more complicated on the quarters, but not much) except the roof, plastidip it white and call it a day.

The roof is the issue body panel on the 03 unfortunately. It looks as though there is a large dent in which the paint chipped and it has now begun to rust.

The biggest issue with the 03 was the lack of the title which is why I was looking to do the 03 parts into the clean titled 99
