Very nice, I also took my D2 on a road trip a few weeks ago except mine was a 6000 mile trip. I averaged 18mpg somehow so 15.5 is definitely doable. Oil consumption seems normal. Glad you didn't have any major issues on the trip.

 

Looks like a great trip. I would say 15 miles per US gallon is what I would expect. Ajay I suspect you’re talking miles per Imperial gallon?

 

You would think so but no I was also traveling through the US. My truck is stock though so dunno if that makes a big difference in fuel economy, but I GPS verified it and at some point i was averaging 18mpg

 

I certainly don’t get that kind of mileage with mine, but my fuel consumption is checked on our Southern British Columbia highways, which is probably very similar to the conditions that Evil Goat experienced.
