Been super busy with work, but, found a roof rack solution i liked and ordered it. What do you think?
I know not everyone is a fan of the simple aesthetic, but I just didnt want a big/top heavy looking rack. I'm pretty happy with the result. Thanks for looking.
Why did you cut out the rain gutter trims? There s is no need for that. I build something like this myself from aluminum extrusion and universal gutter mounts from China and it is absolutely sturdy despite clamping to the plastic.

Very utilitarian and I like the mounting foot design w/ the 6 hex head bolts alot and 3 bar setup. You can toss about anything up there.
Maybe put on the plastic cosmetic covers for the bar ends they have? (I've looked at these before from this company.
I wondered if the mounting feet have a strip of buffer rubber on the bottom of the inboard metal mounting foott? If not you may want to put one on it (why? the safety devices mounting foot has one - a little u channel shaped rubber trim, it protects the paint in the rain gutter which other wise rubs off over time under the mounts... maybe it's an issue, unsure)
Also really like the side belt molding delete on your truck

I really tried to install it without cutting the gutter rail, but, nothing i did allowed the brackets to fit in such a way that i could connect the bolts at the right angle. I did find in the end that i could have trimmed the top and made it work, but it would have damaged them anyway, so, i decided cut was the best option.
